“The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page.” – St. Augustine
Imagine owning a book and all you ever do is read the first page in the first chapter. You’ll never learn what happened to the characters past those first few paragraphs. All of your opinions, thoughts and experiences will be framed by those few paragraphs. For me travel adds the content, complexity and richness that fleshes out a blank book and makes it enjoyable. Where’s Fula is about those experiences that flesh out the blank pages in my travel book.
I’ve spent the past 1+0 years as the consummate road warrior and traveler. I’ve spent more nights in hotel beds than I have in my own (to the point when it was time to buy a bed I simply purchased a Westin Bed since I spend so much time in their beds). In that time I’ve worked with top with top restaurant chains and hotels on marketing and partnership ideas I’ve traveled to 32 countries and counting for personal and work travels. When I’m not traveling I’m thinking about the next adventure whether it involves getting on a flight to the next adventure or taking the subway to explore when I come home to roost in NYC.
This blog will not tell you the best hostels to stay at, and the like(Although in some instances that is the best place to stay). That is not my thing there are some great blogs that focus on that. I’ll focus on my experiences eating at everything from the hole in the wall to top restaurants and celebrity chefs. Hotels where the focus is on service. I’ll also give tips on how to maximize your travel budget and build travel itineraries whether you are traveling solo, as part of a girls trip or as part of a diverse group with family, singles, and children in the mix.
